I studied Business Informatics (Diplom)<\/strong> and later completed a Master\u2019s degree in Security Management<\/strong>. During my first degree, I already started working as a system administrator<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That step had a lasting impact on my career. <\/p>\n\n\n\n After entering the field, I worked in various roles and gained different perspectives, both technical and organizational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since 2013, I have been the managing partner of binsec GmbH and binsec group GmbH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An important influence came from my personal environment early on. My grandfather was self-employed for decades and ran his own business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n From him, I learned what it means to take responsibility, make decisions, and build something over the long term. This was certainly one of the reasons why I chose to pursue entrepreneurship myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In my day-to-day work, I operate between two roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On one side is my technical background in administration and security. On the other side is the responsibility that comes with being a managing director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These perspectives are not always fully aligned. From a technical standpoint, many things would be approached differently or in more depth than what is sometimes practical or reasonable in a business context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the same time, this combination has a clear advantage. I can understand both the perspective of other executives and that of IT professionals. I speak both languages and can act as a bridge between them without losing important details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Over time, you learn to balance these perspectives. They cannot be cleanly separated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I do not see myself as just an IT specialist or just a managing director.
